// ////// // // //// // // // // //// //// ———————————————————————— *You might be interested …* *CAMS Training in Coffs Harbour* The NSW CAMS Office has organised to run 3 training courses in Coffs Harbour (at Club Coffs) on the weekend of the **19th & 20th of July**. On Saturday 19th the Event Operations Up-Skilling course will cover areas such as * Incident Reporting * Communications From the physicality of radios (how to switch them on, choose a channel etc) to the terminology and procedures used during an event * Handling of critical incidents… the paperwork used and how to put that into practice * and there will also be some information on non-rally related activities such as flag marshalling at circuit events … On Sunday 20th there will be both an Event Assessors Course and a Bronze Scrutineers Course running … either one of which could be a useful addition to your motorsport resume … So if you will be in the Coffs area on that weekend and would like to attend one or more of these courses, or would like to find out a bit more about them please contact Doreen from the NSW CAMS Office on 0417 363 126 or send her an email at nsw@cams.com.au nsw@cams.com.au?subject=Coffs%20Training%20Courses&body=Hello%2C%0A%0A> * *

Hi guys how are we? I was supposed to put this up last week but unfortunately time did not permit me to do so. The results will be along soon and I will post them then thanks guys. 01/05/2014 Hello Members and Guests, Just a quick note to update you on the Northern Beaches Handi Hire Rallysprint. For months now the organisers have been toiling away putting all the pieces of the puzzle together to get this event off the ground with the support of NSW forestry, Rally Australia, Rally NSW, Bellingen Council, NSW Police, Local landowners and local business and of course our club members and volunteers. I’ll admit it’s not been easy to put this little event together. Friendships have been put to the test but we are almost there and it’s only now a matter of days until it all happens. I for one can’t wait and I thank those who have been there to make it happen. Sadly, it has been brought to my attention that there has been much discussion and negative comment about a late entry not being accepted from a well known local competitor. While it is disappointing we will not have this competitor at our event, the organisers cannot, even if they wanted to, accept late entries. There are many reasons why. If any members or guests would like to discuss this issue further I will be on hand at the rallysprint all weekend. Moving forward I anticipate an exciting and successful event and hope to see many new and old faces there on the day. Thankyou again to those who are putting in the time and effort to make this event happen. Without all of you we’d all be mowing the lawn this weekend instead of enjoying our sport. Hi guys anyone interested in going to have a look at the Northern Beaches Handi Hire Rallysprint here are the directions. Going south from the _last speed camera_ drive south approx _1.8 km_ and turn right onto _Martells Rd_ and follow the signs. Coming north on hwy from the _Hungry Head Rd_ turn off proceed approx _1.7 km_ turn Left into _Martells Rd_ and follow the signs to spectator point. As with all _Motor sport_ it is dangerous and you should follow the _Spectator Marshall’s directions. _

Hi guys not long to go before the Rallysprint. We at this stage have 28 entries and a very good field of drivers. I will post the start list up tomorrow night and send an email to all of the entrants. I would like to thank all the people involved in the running of the event. Thanks to all the road closure guys,the cooks, the organisers and anybody I have forgotten. This event should be a good event, one we will be proud to have our name on it.
