The Coffs Harbour & District Sporting Car Club was established in 1966 by car enthusiasts who have since gone on to become some of Coffs leading business people.

Initially the club ran hillclimbs between the upper & lower Orara loop roads and Rallies in the Bucca area as in those days it was a long way to go to get to a racing circuit. Over the years the club’s activities have changed to reflect the changing values of society and the interests of the club membership.

Eventually the club came to be known as the organiser of the NSW round of the Australian Rally championship until pressures saw the event relocate to the capital city. Today the club conducts Motorkhanas, Khanacross, Hillclimbs/Lap Dashes and Rally sprints and moving forward is looking at the possibility of other events such as tarmac sprints.

The club holds regular meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of each month and  welcomes anyone interested in motorsport, including juniors and ladies. Normally, the meetings are held at the Coast Hotel corner of Pacific Highway and Moonee Street however, please email for current meeting venues.
