HELPERS NEEDED COFFS SHOW!

Gday All,

Bob Carle is organising a static display for the Coffs Show next weekend. An email just received from Bob below. Please contact Bob at secretary@coffscarclub.com.au if you can assist with this event or would like to display your car.

We have a khanacross on the same weekend (this was the only date that didn’t conflict with other local motorsport), however it might be a good opportunity for those who won’t be competing to help promote our club and our sport.

Hi,

As mentioned at last meeting I am involved in a car display at the “Boys Toy’s Expo” at this years show. I will be setting up two sites. One for the Car Club and one for the Rally Museum. With my involvement I have been able to get these free of charge.

I will need help especially Sat morning around 8am to help put up display. I will be busy setting up the rest of the show. We will also need help to man the stand Saturday till 5-6pm and Sunday till 4pm.

I realise we have an event on the Sunday but not everyone will be going to this, so those who aren’t going could they spare a couple of hours to help out.

If you can help please advise and I can arrange for free pass’s.

I still have some spaces for display cars. At this stage I will have Micks Commodore, he hill climbs, anyone else with something sign written and would suit the Expo please get in touch.

Gday All,

The Northern Beaches Handi Hire Rallysprint has been run and won with the results to be posted very soon.

Congratulations to the competitors and a huge thankyou to all officials, volunteers and helpers for giving up your time to make our event such a success.

Despite the hurdles that popped up during the day for both organisers and competitors the event ran very well and all feedback I have received has been super positive.

Thanks again for your support and I hope to see you all back again next year.

ACCESS TO SPECTATOR POINT SUNDAY 26/04/2015

From the North

From Urunga Visitor information centre drive 6.5 klms south on Pacific Highway and take right turn into Ballards Road.

From the South

From Valla Beach turnoff (Valla Beach Road) drive 5.30 klm on Pacific Highway and take left into Ballards Road.

On Ballards Road drive 400m over new highway bridge and turn right into Range Road, caution road surface changes to gravel.

CAUTION 2 WAY TRAFFIC NARROW ROAD TAKE CARE

Signs will direct you from there.

NO DOGS ALLOWED PLEASE. 1080 POISON LAID IN AREA.

When parking at spectator point please take care not to block road

Please respect the volunteer marshalls they are there for your safety.

ACCESS TO SERVICE PARK/RALLY HQ SUNDAY 26/04/2015

The service park/rally HQ will is located off Martells Road which is 3.5 klm further North up Pacific Highway from Ballards Road and will be signposted.

There is a shortcut from the spectator point to the service park through Ainsworth Road (signposted) however this road is very rough in places and is recommended for 4WD only.

BULLETIN 1

Notice to all competitors we have arranged for an extra scrutineering and documentation session at the service park on Saturday 25/04/2015 from 2pm to 4pm.

All competitors are invited and encouraged to attend the Saturday session if possible it will help the organisers get the event underway on time.

Scheduled scrutineering and documentation on Sunday 26/04/2015 will also be going ahead as per the event itinerary in the sup regs.
