I hope that everyone feels the excellent conditions on the weekend made up for the wait and inconvenience we have experienced recently due to the weather…well mostly 🙂

It was a fantastic turn out on Sunday for our second round of the Coffs Coast Khanacross Series. With a huge range of cars, drivers and experience represented. Its great to see some families and young competitors getting involved and the ladies class is really getting some momentum.

We would like to thank the competitors, friend and their families, who set the courses, operate the timing equipment, setup, pack up, run the barbeque, handle the paperwork, prepare peoples cars, promote the events and club, and in general, tirelessly work behind the scenes. Many of whom are from surrounding clubs.
To those who came along to have a look or try their first event, I hope you see what we all see in Motorsport and will be back!

Apologies to everyone for the changing of dates. I understand it may have been an inconvenience. The weather and the track maintenance has made things challenging however I believe the finished results will make up for the trouble.
Just to recap:
WEDNESDAY 18th June @ 7:30 pm is the next meeting.
SUNDAY 22nd June is the next Coffs Coast Khanacross Round (in the paddock).
SUNDAY 6th July is the next Bonville Service Stations & Licensed Post Office Bush Khanacross Round (on the repaired track).
Once again a massive thanks to the members and supporting businesses who have made this happen.
A special mention to the members who donated their time and equipment to finish the works before the weather took it all away…….again! You know who you are. Its people like you and all the others before you, who put the club in a strong position to enable projects like this. Thankyou All.
Due to the weather and some planned track improvements it was necessary to shuffle some dates on the calendar. Please note the following changes:
The next round of the Bonville Service Station and Licensed Post Office – Bush Khanacross will now be the Sunday 22nd June. This will allow us time to setup and hopefully complete the repairs to the track surface, which should mean we are less susceptible to the weather in the long-term. The plan is to have a venue which we can run under any conditions!
Thanks again to everyone assisting with suggestions and help with the track repairs. A big thankyou to the club members who organised the gravel and machines to apply it to the track. Raleigh Raceway deserves our thanks too, for allowing us the ability to use and adjust the track to our requirements. Not too mention the use of their machines and help with spreading and rolling the surface.
A working bee is scheduled for Saturday 7th June if anyone has some spare time to donate. If all goes to plan this will conclude the track work for the short term.
With the date of the Bush Khanacross changing, it was necessary the Paddock Khanacross change dates also. Therefore the next Paddock Khanacross will be on the Sunday 6th July.
After the postponement of our Quality Accounting Coffs Coast Rally 2025 a new date was sought and now been approved for Saturday 11th October. A separate post will re-reinforce this change. Events on Facebook will be updated. Keep an eye out on the Sportity app or Queensland Rally Championship/Rally NSW/QA Coffs Coast Rally, Facebook Page for further updates.
As always, everyone is welcome. We are likely to have a short update on the upcoming rally now scheduled for October. Also, some plans regarding making the Bush Khanacross area a little more weather proof. There are still plenty of roles available, both regarding the Rally and also for the club in general for anyone who wishes to contribute some time. Just as a one off or a regular thing.
Come along to the Coffs Hotel and have your say!
We are always looking for people to assist in the running of the club and events so let others know!
Meetings are held every third Wednesday of the month.
In the “Back” room, starts at 7:30pm
Upcoming events:
Bonville Service Station and LPO Bush Khanacross 8th June (Round 2).
For those who are unfamiliar, its a khanacross event with the additional challenge of the course following forestry style tracks within the Raleigh Motorsport Complex.
A great progression from a series Khanacross on your way to a Rally Sprint or Autocross and beyond.
Fill out an entry form (1 to 3 drivers) entry-form-fillable.pdf (This is all your required details, complete and return).
Complete a declaration that your drivers and car are eligible to compete (Complete and return, a requirement for Motorsport Australia).

Apart from the Supp Regs please either send or bring the forms along. You can take a photo, screenshot, print and scan to send them, whatever works for you.
If the above is too difficult, bring them along or come along on the day and we can assist with filling them out on the morning of the event. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or difficulties.
Just to recap you can still enter on the morning of the event, however it can make it challenging to start on time if we have more than expected numbers.
