Congratulations to everyone who competed in Round 1 of our Motorkhana series on the weekend 🙂

There was great pace and skill out in the paddock, with a good fight amongst the top 4

Thankyou to all who helped with set up and take down. Many hands make light work.

We all had a great day with lots of fun. Wayne and Liam fought a tight battle all day. Liam’s runs were carm and calculated and he won by only 4 seconds. There was amazingly few penalties. The Summersells rocked up with a new car with Peter coming in third. Well done to all.

Round 2 will be on the 15th of July

Round 3  will be on the 16th of September 🙂

Looking forward to seeing all who competed again, and hopefully some more competitors

Get down and support your local sporting car club. These events are a great way to test your skills and your car, at a cheap price 🙂

Just a reminder that Round 1 of our Motorkhana series is on THIS Sunday the 29th!!

If you are competing; PLEASE be there before 8am to help set up and get documentation started.

We will be down on the bottom paddock at Raleigh Raceway

PLEASE try and bring your entry/membership/license forms filled out if you have not emailed them through 🙂

Sunday should be a great day of competition, so come and test you skills!!

THIS CLUB NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT. We have an opportunity on Sunday 15th April at the Seniors Festival to promote the club, maybe even get some press.

We need the following:

2 awnings, 2 tables. 4 chairs, more if possible.

Up to 3 cars, mine and 2 others, spectacular and well presented.

Action photographs

Event fliers

Membership forms Web and Facebook address

We need ownership as to how all this is going to get there

I believe we already have 2 cars, we need another one, well presented and racey.

Most of all we need people who are committed to this club, it’s growth and prosperity. If we don’t put ourselves out there we will remain in doldrums, a club is only as good as it’s members.

We are just wondering if anyone would like to participate in a stall at the markets so we can show what the club is all about.

We will be looking for a couple of cars to display, proper race/rally set ups would be great.

This will be held on the 15th of April (a bit short notice sorry) 8am-2pm.

Just reminding you all that our meeting is on Tuesday the 20th. 7:30pm upstairs at The Coast Hotel 🙂

We really need numbers to meetings guys and girls. The more members we can get helping with the preparation and organisation of events, the easier it will be to run them.

Come in to the bar before hand for a drink and a yarn, and you’re more than welcome to have a feed during the meeting.
