Coffs Harbour & District Sporting Car Club

We’re at the pointy end of the year – and what a huge end of the season it is with the Coffs Coast Festival of Motor Sport well underway!

Firstly, a reminder that we have a monthly meeting next Tuesday 21st November at the Coffs Hotel. We have plenty to sort for next year – see you there at 7:30pm to help make 2024 an awesome year for us.

Second – while the Coffs Coast Rally 2023 had to be postponed due to factors beyond our control, entries are still open for the Coffs Coast Festival of Motorsport Hillclimb Round 2 and the Flooded Gums Shootout Sprint 2023. We’ve only received 10 entries so far for the hillclimb – please remember that entries close at 5pm this Friday! Any late entries will incur a $20 late fee as this increases our workload exponentially. We will be going ahead at this point despite the lack of entries – so if you’d like an event that will likely get you a lot of track time to cap the year off, this is the one.

We have also confirmed catering will be supplied by the Coffs Coast Railroad Modellers, breakfast and lunch will be available.

Entries are now open for two of our Coffs Coast Festival of Motorsport events – the Flooded Gums Shootout Sprint, and the Coffs Coast Festival of Motorsport Hillclimb Round 2.

Both events can be entered via links on the event pages on our website – supp regs and other required docs are also available on these pages.

We will also have Motorsport Australia portal entry available for the hillclimb very shortly – we are experiencing some technical issues that MA are helping us sort ASAP.

Results are in for our final round of the Coffs Mechanical Repairs Khanacross Series!

What a way to top off the year – the rain made for minimal dust for most of the day and the weather was absolutely perfect all day. We had some super close competition, with outright places being traded all day and being decided by less than a second in the last round.

Once again, a huge thank you to everyone who showed up to run, and especially our officials who showed up to help. Special mention goes to Coffs Mechanical Repairs for sponsoring our series – this has helped us maintain these events through this year as we rebuild after covid.

We will have more info out about our hillclimb on the 19th Nov, the Quality Accounting Coffs Coast Rally 2023 and the Flooded Gums Shootout 2023 through this week!

The Coffs Mechanical Repairs Khanacross Round 6 is a go for tomorrow!

We’re double checking the paddock this afternoon, however that rain we had was likely just what the previously dry and dusty surface needed. We have enough entries to run – thank you everyone who let us know you’re coming.

This is our last khanacross for this year – it should be a blast. Don’t miss it!

A reminder that our final khanacross for the year – the Coffs Mechanical Repairs Khanacross Round 6 – is on this Sunday 29th October!

We have only received 3 entries so far, which isn’t enough to go ahead with the event. If you’re intending on heading along, please send your entry form through to Mick (details in the supp regs and entry form on our website) ASAP, or at least message our Facebook page to let us know you’re coming. If we don’t get enough people, we unfortunately will be forced to cancel the event.

We’d love to make this one happen – we hope to see plenty of you out there!

If you haven’t got your entry in, please do so soon, or at least let us know you’re coming, as we need to know numbers for this one. We’ve had some beautiful weather – so yes, it’ll probably be dusty but should be an awesome day racing anyway!
