Counting the days . . .

Its only 6 days till the opening round of the Bonville Servo and LPO Bush Khanacross Series 2025.

Time flies! and the entries are filing in for the next Bush Khanacross now supported by Bonville Service Station & Licensed Post Office. Entries will still be available on the day, however we are hoping to minimise the time on paperwork and maximise the fun stuff.

The Hubcap Cafe will be open so bring some money for a great feed at lunchtime and some cold drinks if its hot.

A small team will be setting up on the Saturday beforehand if you have some spare time to share.

After that……..

Its only 48 days till our Coffs Motor Festival at the showground.

Something totally new for the club and it should prove to be fun and a great way to let the public know about us and all the other motor based groups in the area. Sign up and show your car for free!

After that…..

…and its only 68 days till the Quality Accounting Coffs Coast Rally for 2025!

What can I say about this fantastic event.

Last years effort was phenomenal and this year is already shaping up to be even bigger and better. The main organisers have been at work since the last event to improve on the success of 2024. If you haven’t signed up yet to help out or compete, what are you waiting for?

Theres bound to be lots of news around the Rally as we ramp up our readiness for May. Keep an eye on the Facebook Page (dedicated) https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61551292941327 the events page on FB (https://www.facebook.com/share/162cvWEQDa/) and the club website event page https://www.coffscarclub.com.au/events/ for further updates. Closer to the date, official documents will also be published on Sportity https://www.sportity.com/app both under the NSWRally and Queensland Rally Championship (QRC) pathways.

Keep an eye out and start getting excited!

A khanacross event with the additional challenge of the course following forestry style tracks within the Raleigh Motorsport Complex.

A great progression from a series Khanacross on your way to a Rally Sprint or Autocross and beyond.

Good old fashion service…….not just for you, but also the community

All the locals know how great the service and products are the Bonville Service Station & Licensed Post Office. But did you know the team have also generously offered to support some of our Car Club events too?

Its not the first time local groups have been given a leg up by this Coffs Coast landmark. We at the Car Club know how hard it is for businesses to find the time and funds to support community clubs and initiatives. Thats why when it happens its extra special.

Bonville Service Station are no strangers to going the extra mile, sharing their success and giving something back.

Its time to share the warmth and fuzziness with the rest of the region. Let people know how powerful the Coffee is and how smooth the fuel is (or should that be the other way round:)

Get you plants, post, paper and produce there!

Lets help support the team that is helping keep the dream of motorsport in the Coffs region alive, just like there coffee and croissants do for me.

They deserve a bronze statue but hopefully they will be happy with their name plastered all over our event material and the extra support from the club and anyone who will listen.

If your passing through, give a warm heartful thanks to any of the team. Let them know that the Coffs Harbour & District Sporting Car Club (and the public) recognises their generosity, support and love for the community.

Meeting Tomorrow 7pm – The Coffs Hotel

…and after that I promise I will stop harping on about it. Look on the bright side, after the meeting, the next thing will be our Bush Khanacross on the 2rd March, so that’s something more pleasurable to look forward to 🙂

Closer than you think…..

Well give or take……..Its an important one, so please come along and make sure your voice is heard!

We will be choosing the team to manage the club and events throughout 2025/2026.

And while I have your attention…..here is some great free advice from an experienced competitor/member.

Having trouble entering our events? Try this!

1. Navigate to our event page website or Facebook page

2. Open the entry form and complete on your phone or PC

3. Take an image of it (screen shot, print & scan, print & take photo, print as PDF…)

4. Email it (repeat for safety checklist & statement of conformity)

5. Pay (EFT or Cash on the day)

Thanks to the Beard Family for this easy method. If you need any assistance we are always here to help.

As always, help is around if you need it.

All hands on deck!

Annual General Meeting – Wednesday 12th February 7:00pm onwards

Hi everyone. Please mark your calendars for the AGM and let anyone and everyone know if you can. We really need people to join up and if possible help out!

Everyone has pitched some great ideas but it would be nice to have a few more resources to make them a reality.

Hope to see you all there with friends, neighbours, relatives, strangers……

3,2,1…GO! Coffs Coast Khanacross Round 1 2025

A great big thank you to all the competitors who came along on Sunday for our first Khanacross for 2025. The conditions were great, even a little rain to keep the dust at bay before we began.

Such a diverse field. Lets hope its an indicator that we are in for an exciting year with lots of new faces. I think all would agree, it was nice to see the outright podium shared between a Lady, a Junior and a Male competitor. Now if we can just get some different surnames up there 😛

Outright placings

A special thanks to everyone who helped out, including the members from other clubs. Those who: kept us safe, made sure we left on time, had our times recorded, processed our paperwork, made suggestions, checked our vehicles, cooked us lunch, set up courses, drew maps, looked after the inexperienced, told us when we got it wrong 🙂 went and picked up the flags, helped fix our cars, prepared the paddock, handled the payments, supported the friends and family competing, everyone behind the scenes who make these events happen.
