RedPoint Hillclimb Results

For those who haven’t received them yet, results are out for our RedPoint Hillclimb Round 2

Firstly, again, thank you to our volunteer officials, RedPoint, and all the competitors who made the effort to be there this week.

Secondly – congratulations to our winners! We had a wide range of vehicle types and some fantastic (and for some, spectacular!) driving, keeping things interesting for spectators and competitors alike.

Don’t forget we have our AGM this coming Tuesday and then our Khanacross Round 5 the Saturday after that – hopefully we’ll see you all there!

Hillclimb Tomorrow!

We’re finally going racing tomorrow! We’ve been down and the track is looking great (and the burnouts have rubbered up the start nicely – should be plenty of grip!)

A little housekeeping:

We have the club caravan set up near the start line for documentation – please head over to sign in & collect your transponder for the morning. Make sure you don’t forget your zip ties to affix it to the vehicle – especially those who are double entered in one car.

While you’re there, check out the RedPoint tent – I’m told they’re wanting to look after us competitors, so it’s worth heading over for a chat!

Timing will be provided by MyLaps Speedhive (you can download the app or visit speedhive.mylaps.com). However, as mobile reception at the track is poor, we are planning on displaying times at the club caravan in the pits.

Finally – food is beiung supplied by the Lions Club just above the pits. They do have EFTPOS, however, as reception is poor, we are recommending people bring cash.

This is shaping up to be one absolutely awesome day – see you all out at the track tomorrow!

AGM REMINDER

Now that entries are closed for our RedPoint Hillclimb Round 2, we’d like to remind you that our AGM is this month and coming up soon. It’s on at our usual meeting time and place, 7:30pm at the Coffs Hotel, on Tuesday 15th November.

We have plenty on the agenda for next year, and we need people to step up and help out, as our volunteers have been working tirelessly to ensure the events we have been running go ahead.

We’d love to see you there – and then again at Khanacross Round 5 on the 19th Nov!

Sponsors want for our khanacross series!

It’s not just our end of year events that should be on your minds at the moment – we are planning plenty for next year too!

We will have some positions open for sponsors for our khanacross series, and possibly other events through the year. We’re also in the process of revamping our website – meaning we can now feature sponsorship on both our website and member emails/communication.

To be frank, this is super cheap advertising and you’re helping us maintain affordable grassroots motorsport in the Coffs Coast – a big win-win!

If you’re interested, please let us know by messaging our Facebook page or via the contact form on our website.

Monthly meeting tomorrow

Hi folks, just a quick reminder that our monthly meeting is on tomorrow (Tuesday 18th October). Usual time and place, 7:30pm at the Coffs Hotel.

We have plenty of end-of year stuff to sort out – we really need more people willing to step in & help out, otherwise we may not be able to run another khanacross this year. So – please head along!

Khanacross Round 4 on tomorrow!

Looks like the weather has decided to be kind to us, with an absolutely beautiful day today and a promising forecast for tomorrow

You know what that means – we’re on for our Khanacross Round 4 tomorrow, including a reappearance of the 1km & 2km runs!

It’s not too late to get your entries in – we still haven’t had many, so if you’re intending on heading down let us know. See you all at Raleigh tomorrow 🏁

We need your khanacross entries!

Only a few days till our Khanacross Round 4 – on this Sunday!

Firstly – we’ve only had 2 definite entries and 1 maybe. If you intend on coming, please at least let us know ASAP (or, even better, send your entries in) so we can ensure the event goes ahead and so we can organise the correct catering for the BBQ.

The paddock has been mowed and is looking good to run on despite the recent rain – the weather forecast is looking promising for us to be able to go racing this weekend. If it does rain, we will check the paddock on Saturday and provide an update.

In the meantime, entry forms and supp regs can be downloaded from our website here: https://www.coffscarclub.com.au/event/coffs-cost-khanacross-round-4-2022/
